Asher Suites is a start-up business that sells goods like: organic foods, clothing items, kitchen utensils, and beddings. Our main goal during this project was to develop a brand identity that radiates quality, excellence, and sophistication. Considering the business owner's diverse product line caters for basic human necessities, we focused on creating a brand presence that consistently embodies high quality across all interaction points.
The Logo Concept
We conceived the notion of incorporating a relatable icon and crafting narratives around it. Our goal was to convey that our client's product is an indispensable and versatile asset in all aspects of life. This inspired the choice of the butterfly as their emblem. However, we didn't settle for just any butterfly; our aim was to communicate elegance and sophistication, leading us to select the Monarch Butterfly. The logo is a combination of a Monarch Butterfly (the king of all butterflies) and the brand name (Asher Suites). Butterflies are beautiful-winged creatures that exists in all continents except Antarctica. They can be found virtually everywhere. This knowledge birthed the brand's tagline: "Royalties everywhere!"
Colour and Typography
The typography is both readable and aligns with the logo structure; the round, plump structure of the text complements the logo. The brand colors are Black, white and Gold: In color psychology, black is symbolic of power, elegance, mystery, and sophistication while the color gold is cousin to the color yellow and is also associated with glamour, wealth, grandeur, and prosperity. These colors are associated with Royalty.
