4. Consultation Booking & Zoho Integration

Booking Policy

Consultation Sessions

  • Free initial consultations available
  • Paid specialized consultations as marked
  • Sessions conducted via Zoho Meeting or phone
  • Recording available with consent
  • Meeting links provided 24 hours in advance
  • Follow-up materials provided post-session

Cancellation Policy

  • 24-hour minimum notice for cancellations
  • Free rescheduling with adequate notice
  • No-shows may incur fees for paid sessions
  • Emergency cancellations considered case-by-case
  • Refunds processed according to payment method
  • Recurring bookings require separate cancellation

Zoho Integration Notice

Our booking system integrates with Zoho Calendar and Meeting services. By booking a consultation, you consent to data processing through Zoho's platform. ReviewZoho's Privacy Policyfor details on their data handling practices.

5. Payment Terms & Conditions

Payment Schedule

  • Project Deposit: 50% upfront for projects over $500
  • Milestone Payments: As agreed in project contract
  • Final Payment: Due upon project completion
  • Consultation Fees: Due at time of booking
  • Monthly Services: Billed in advance
  • Late Fees: 2% per month on overdue amounts

Refund Policy

  • Before Work Begins: Full refund minus processing fees
  • Work in Progress: Prorated based on completion
  • Completed Work: No refund unless quality issues
  • Consultation Fees: Refundable with 24hr notice
  • Processing Time: 5-10 business days
  • Disputes: Resolved through good faith negotiation

Accepted Payment Methods

Bank transfers, PayPal, Stripe payments, and other methods as agreed. Currency conversions subject to current exchange rates plus processing fees.

6. User Conduct & Prohibited Uses

Prohibited Activities

  • • Submitting false or misleading information
  • • Attempting to breach security measures
  • • Uploading malicious content or viruses
  • • Infringing on intellectual property rights
  • • Harassment or inappropriate behavior
  • • Spamming or unsolicited communications
  • • Using services for illegal activities

Consequences

  • • Warning and account restrictions
  • • Temporary or permanent service suspension
  • • Termination of ongoing projects
  • • Forfeiture of payments and deposits
  • • Legal action when appropriate
  • • Reporting to relevant authorities
  • • Blacklisting from future services
  • • Public disclosure of violations if severe

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Alot Academy Retention

  • General methodologies and frameworks
  • Proprietary tools and development resources
  • Pre-existing intellectual property
  • Knowledge and experience gained
  • Portfolio rights for promotional use

Third-Party Components

Projects may include third-party libraries, frameworks, or services. These retain their original licenses and terms. Clients receive usage rights but not ownership of third-party components.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Important Legal Notice

Services provided "as is" without warranties. Liability limited to project value. Not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential losses.

Service Limitations

  • No guarantee of specific business outcomes
  • Technology limitations beyond our control
  • Third-party service dependencies
  • Internet and hosting provider issues
  • Changes in regulations or industry standards
  • Force majeure events and acts of nature

Client Responsibilities

  • Backup and security of own data
  • Compliance with applicable laws

9. Termination & Survival

Termination Conditions

  • By Client: 30-day written notice required
  • By Alot Academy: Immediate for cause, 30-day for convenience
  • Non-payment: Service suspension after 15 days overdue
  • Breach of Terms: Immediate termination possible
  • Project Completion: Natural expiration of agreement

Post-Termination

  • Work Product: Delivered upon payment clearance
  • Confidentiality: Continues indefinitely
  • Data Return: Client data provided within 30 days
  • Outstanding Fees: Remain due and payable
  • Access Termination: Immediate upon termination
